Picking a dog friendly picnic spot…

When planning a dog friendly picnic, selecting a safe spot is important to ensure a fun and safe outing for both you and your dog. Here’s our top tips to follow when choosing the perfect dog friendly picnic spot near you…

  • Dog friendly locations: Before setting off, ensure the picnic spot you’ve chosen allow dogs.
  • Shade and comfort: Consider the weather conditions and choose a spot with ample shade, especially on hot summer days.
  • Water source: If possible, pick a location with access to a clean water source. It’s always a good idea to pack your own too!
  • Check for hazards: Watch out for toxic plants, sharp objects, or any other dangers that could harm your pet.
  • Avoid crowded places: Busy and noisy areas may stress out your dog. Opt for quieter areas where your pup can relax and enjoy peacefully.

Don’t forget to pack the essentials such as a portable bowl and poo bags.
