Doggy day care founder joins pet industry board

Bruce Casalis, founder and managing director of award-winning Surrey-based dog crèche company Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, has been appointed to the board of the Pet Industry Federation.

The Pet Industry Federation is a leading membership association for pet industry specialists in the UK, and the only organisation that represents all the different sectors.

Nigel Baker, chief executive, Pet Industry Federation (PIF), said:

“We are delighted that Bruce has joined the PIF board. Doggy day care has become a prominent player in the UK pet services space in recent years. It is therefore important we have someone at the table with Bruce’s experience and expertise to advise us. We look forward to working with Bruce and the wider executive team to further strengthen our position as the UK’s national trade association for pet businesses.”

Bruce Casalis, managing director, Bruce’s Doggy Day Care, added:

“I’m pleased and honoured to accept the role. As a nation of animal lovers, and in particular dogs, the UK pet industry is thriving. Something I have seen first-hand with the rapid expansion of my own business and the doggy day care sector as a whole. These are exciting times, and I very much look forward to working with PIF as we navigate them.”
