Dog Walks in West Byfleet

We recently welcomed a number of new doggy day care four-legged friends from West Byfleet.

A popular Surrey village with London commuters due to its excellent train links and close proximity to the M25, West Byfleet is just five miles from Woking. And with two canals nearby – the Basingstoke Canal and the Wey Navigation Canal – it’s also great for dog walks.

According to mapmywalk, there are lots of great routes in and around West Byfleet taking in waterways, woodland, and much more. Ranging from under two miles for little legs, to up to 10 miles for the more active and ambitious.

And while dog-friendly pubs in West Byfleet itself are few and far between, there are lots just a short car ride away as recommended by Doggie Pubs.

We’re particular fans of The Black Swan in Ockham which is frequented by famous faces and close to the lovely Surrey Wildlife Trust Ockham Common heathland: another dog-lovers paradise.
